Japan’s Cinema Today recently reported that a new Kamen Rider Den-O work is slated to be released during the Toei Manga Festival. For those unaware of the Toei Manga Festival, it is an event established to showcase Toei’s childern’s series as theatrical films. The event normally occurs during seasonal vacation breaks in the school year. Also, the event is known for hosting the premiere of every Dragon Ball film.
Titled “Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O,” it is the first stand-alone Kamen Rider Den-O work since 2010; the final stand-alone production was “Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider The Movie: Super Den-O Trilogy.” Whereas, Kamen Rider Den-O continued to appear in later works through crossover events. Yet, no other details such as the story or cast has been revealed currently. However, we should expect more information within the next few weeks, as the Toei Manga Festival is April 24th. In addition, this year’s Toei Manga Festival will feature four works.
