After both teams in Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger simultaneously received new VS Vehicles last month, now the Lupinrangers get the solo spotlight with the new DX  Scissors and Blade Dial Fighter. This is a fantastic set. Both the Scissors and Blade Dial Fighters are 100% unique and each function together or independently. They both have unique summoning sounds, lock combinations, and gun shot sounds. This set is basically 2 Dial Fighters in one. The “Kaitou Boost” gives the user the massive shield and boomerang in the show, but here, you get snipping sounds for Scissors and metal clashing sounds for Blade. On their own, they each have their own individual “attack modes” with Blade just turning into its sword form and Scissors unfolding its undercarriage to reveal a giant pair of scissors that can open and close. Adding LupinKaiser to the mix allows this set to form LupinKaiser Knight. Once again yellow is replaced and Scissors undercarriage becomes an arm assembly to go on LupinKaisers right side. Blade simply slots into the other hand and there you have the new form. This is a fantastic set overall. Its price is just as much as any other DX VS Vehicle but it literally has twice the sound effects and functionality. There is no downside to this item unless you hate the look of it or the sounds, but aside from that, I highly recommend this set to any LvP fans and collectors.

The DX Hammer Dial Fighter is a heavy repaint and retool of the previously seen Blade Dial Fighter. This was a campaign item given away with the purchase of any LvP DX toy while supplies last. That being said, as a free toy, it’s fantastic. But if you have to hunt it down on eBay or other sites, I wouldn’t recommend paying too much. As I said, it’s basically just the DX Blade Dial Fighter with a gender swap (as seen in episode 11) but even though it may look similar, the sounds are 100% different aside from the “Kaitou Boost” sound. The toy is read as “Hammer” in the DX VS Changer with a new combination and a new sound effect when pulling the trigger. Overall, it feels like its own original toy. Its transformation is exactly the same as Blades but, instead of a sword, you get a hammer to be placed in LupinKaisers hand.
