Toei announced that the Kamen Rider THE FIRST and Kamen Rider THE NEXT films will get a Blu-ray release in one single package.
Kamen Rider THE FIRST and Kamen Rider THE NEXT are reinterpretations of the Kamen Rider and Kamen Rider V3 TV shows respectively. Both films are written by Toshiki Inoue (Kamen Rider Agito). Both films feature some differences and similarities from the TV shows they were based upon.
Both films will be released in a single package under the name “Kamen Rider THE FIRST & THE NEXT Blu-ray“. This 3-disc Blu-ray set contains the two films, and a bonus disc. Aside from the two films, this package also comes with audio commentary, trailers, a special booklet, and more.
The Kamen Rider THE FIRST & THE NEXT Blu-ray cost 12,500 yen and is set for an August 3 release.
