Bandai Namco released the sales figures for the projected 2016 fiscal year, revealing some interesting stuff in regards to Shuriken Sentai Ninninger‘s toy sales.
The report revealed that the Shuriken Sentai Ninninger toyline earned a total of 5.4 billion yen in its first three quarters. In addition, with the inclusion of the first batch of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, the full year earnings of the Super Sentai franchise is forecasted to earn a total of 9 billion yen.
Based on prior reports, Ninninger’s first quarter made a total of 3 billion yen, and its second and third quarters made a combined 2.4 billion yen. Based on these figures alone, Ninninger is the lowest selling Super Sentai Series since Mirai Sentai Timeranger. This title was previously held by Juuken Sentai Gekiranger as the series only sold a total of 7.7 billion yen.
