Ultraman Ginga S Directed by Sakamoto – Details

The story of Ultraman Ginga S takes place two years after the defeat of Dark Rugiel. This time there will also be a Defense Team. This season is directed by Koichi Sakamoto.

Story of Ultraman Ginga S:
A long time ago, during ancient times, there existed a stone of mystery called “Victorium”. The stone is said to be able to transform a person into a giant called Ultraman Victory, who can travel into space. However, only the chosen ones can obtain it.

Two years after the Battle of Ultraman Ginga with Dark Rugiel, a new enemy lands on Earth, called Chiburu Seijin Exceler and tries to obtain the Victorium, with his agent called Android Zero One.

This time it’s a battle between three races – Humans, People of Underground (Victorium) and Chiburu Seijin Exceler.

Ultraman Ginga

In this season, Ultraman Ginga is going to gain a new form called Ultraman Ginga Storium which is shortened as “Ultraman Ginga S”. In this form he can use the powers of Six Ultra Brothers – Ultraman, Zoffy, Ultraseven, Ultraman Jack, Ultraman Ace, and Ultraman Taro.It seems that this suit is designed based on Ultraman Taro’s Suit, Chest and Head. He can transform into this form by using Storium Brace given by Taro.

Ultraman Victory is the an Ancient Victorian Warrior who is born from the power of the Victorium Stone. Shou uses the “Victory Lancer” to transform into Ultraman Victory. By using the “Spark Dolls” of Ultra Kaijin he can transform his Right Arm into the arm of that respective Kaijin.

UPG

This time there will be a Defense Force Team in Ultraman Ginga S. This team is called UPG.

Hikaru Raidou (Takuya Negishi) / Ultraman Ginga is going to be sent to a mission by UPG to search for Chiburu Seijin who had landed on Earth. While finding Chiburu Seijin, Hikaru discovers the ancient city of Victorium.

Tomoya Ichijouji (Takuya Kusakawa from Bullet Train) still uses the GunPad which he used to control Jean-Nine. In Ultraman Ginga S, he is in charge of researching the Mysterious Stone “Victorium” in his “Ichijouji Lab”. His research is sponsored by UPG.

Ryuichi Ohura is going to play Yoshiaki Jinno who is the Captain of Defense Team UPG. He likes Houseplants and Herbal Tea, and cares for everyone in an emergency.

Ryuichi Ohura had previously played Nobuhiko Tsukikage / Shadowmoon in Kamen Rider Decade: All Rider Vs Dai-Shocker as well as Tori / Anhel Seijin in Ultraman Mebius Episode 23. He had also appeared in GARO: Yami wo Terasu Mono Episode 10 as Masaomi Tsuboi.

Yukari Taki plays the role of UPG member Arisa Sugita. She is the only female member in UPG, and is the leader in Combat. She has the strength of a strong man, and she is in-charge of the vehicles of UPG.

Yukari Taki had previously played Aoi Katsuragi in Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Accel which was directed by Koichi Sakamoto. She had also played Itsuki Kawai in Space Sheriff Gavan THE MOVIE.

Takahiro Katou plays Gouki Matsumoto, a member of the UPG. He is also in-charge of Combat like Arisa. He has Black Belt in Karate, has trained his body, likes to laugh heartily and is surprisingly delicate. He apparently has loose lips when drunk.

Takahiro Katou had previously played Gou in Shogeki Gouraigan!!

Victorian

An underground people called the Victorian are going to appear in Ultraman Ginga S. These are the descendants of the people who sealed the Victorium Stone using Victory Lancer. They have a special power called Shepardon.

Uji Kiyotaka is going to play Shou / Ultraman Victory. He is the son of Queen Kisara. He is the one chosen to protect the Victorium Stone. He transforms into Ultraman Victory using the ancient UltLive Item called Victory Lancer.

Mirai Yamamoto is going to play the Victorian Queen Kisara. She is the mother of Shou (Ultraman Victory), and the adopted mother of Sakuya and Repi. When the Victorium Stone is stolen she chooses Shou to bring back the Stone by giving him the Victory Lancer.

Rina Koike is going to play the role of Victorian called Sakuya. She is the girl guarding the Victorian Temple. She considers Shou (Ultraman Victory), who is her childhood friend, as her brother. She is raised by Queen Kisara.

Rina Koike had previously played Sailor Moon in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon as a Child Actress. She had also played Nomura Shizuka in Kamen Rider Kiva. 

Child Actor Hinata Yamada is going to play the Victorian called Repi. He is the younger brother of Sakuya. He has strong interest in the human world since he was brought up in the Underground world without day and night. He longs to see the blue sky, and the stars at night.

He had previously played Shou Sakai in Kamen Rider Wizard Episode 45.

Yosuke Saito is going to play the Victorian called Kamushin. He aides Queen Kisara.

Yosuke Saito had previously played Investigator called Siki in Ultraman Mebius, Vice Principal in Kamen Rider THE NEXT, and Akaza in GARO ~Red Requiem~.

Chiburu Seijin Exceler and Android One Zero

Moga Mogami is going to play Android One Zero in Ultraman Ginga S. She is the agent sent by Chiburu Seijin Exceler from moon to get the Victorium Stone.

Moga Mogami is the member of the idol group called Dempagumi.inc. She and all Dempagumi.inc member had previously worked in Koichi Sakamoto’s Innocent Lilies. She was the main character in this Drama and she had played Moga Hakuchou.

It is likely that dempagumi.inc will perform the ending song of Ultraman Ginga S.
