So…. in this glimpse we get to see the Super Megaforce Power Rangers take up the DaiRanger Keys to unleash new powers “never before seen on Earth.” Which.. is kinda fun. There were plans to use them as the Ancient Rangers in a story arc, but it got scrapped after Valerie Vernon was diagnosed with leukemia and had to leave the show.

He gave the explanation! It’s really simple there are lots of more planet the power and morphing grind are not just for earth! So there may be 1000s of more Power Rangers you never seen or heard about! And now they can tap in that unknow powers as well. (yeah I know they take the old unused teams of Japan but that serie is not power rangers it’s a complete other universe and even multiverse they not even call them self Power rangers!)

With so many teams to focus on they did this? I just have to laugh at the rangers yet again receiving new powers (and suits) for doing next to nothing. I swear Gosei should have picked the form of a slot-machine the way her duels out powers. Also funny to see the non – seen in this dimension, RPM suits right before it (RPM red was in Samurai).

possible planets -like stated the quasar sabers so Mirinoi. OR Eltar is another possibility. I mean last minute power up for tommy basically -why white, why not resemble the others – logical inuniverse explanation- Zordon based the design on a previous team- a team from Eltar as reference when designing the White Ranger Powers. Cause we can’t exactly go “it was to fit the mythical creature aspect” A tiger is not a mythical creature- course neither is the lion as the black ranger’s thunderzord was called. But still we have 2 easy to explain possible planets. There is also the chance of Alternate Universe. “Never before seen on THIS planet.” not on Earth.
that could also explain the use of both Samurai and RPM suits. Since based solely on “Clash of the Red Rangers” RPM and Samurai are in 2 different universes. Now for all we know they could ret con it so RPM is from the future and Scott Thought he entered another universe/different earth. So yeah if the show doesn’t give an xplanation we have plenty of possibilities and Retcons are not out of the picture either for some things. PR is full of plot holes that at one point or another were”planned” to be filled in- like certain rangers returning with powers they had lost or had stopped using for whatever reason, Of course i speak of Forever Red.

it was totally surprising to see them use the dairanger footage. At least they did get a shotout on being some alien team. Though would have been nice to see them give the powers a name. But really they didnt need to use the dairanger footage. They could have just continue the fight footage with gosei suit/original footage, or have taken footage from another gokaiger episode where they where fighting xborg(what ever the gokaiger name for them was), or done an original legend mode change for like a mmpr suit or something else.

it wasn’t that surprising since The marketing teaser at SDCC pretty blatantly showed them and part of troys dream footage pretty blatantly left ryu ranger in the footage yes other sentai only teams were shown in there but not to the degree that Ryuuranger was used. they could have easily left that part out. Plus Casting sides referred to them as star Force>
theres been speculation that they were going to be used for months.

Even though those Ranger costumes haven’t been given specific names, I prefer to call them the Thunder Ranger costumes because they resemble four of the first Thunderzords. But it’s unfair that the Ryuranger costume wasn’t shown in Earths Fights Back.
For anyone who’s interested, I have this theory about the Dairanger powers:
“Long ago, Ninjor and Zordon secretly on Power Ranger and kung fu stuff to give to six worthy kung fu heroes in China under the guidance of the Buddha and the heroic gods of that country. But Lord Zedd arrived and interferred with their work. So those two heroes were unable to do what they intended to do.
However, Ninjor found a way to make the first five Thunderzords and Thunder Bikes work without the first Thunder Morphers. He told Zordon that he could merge those robots with the first five Dinozords in case Zedd would ever mess with them (the Thudnerzords).
Nnjor also told the very first Ranger boss that the Green Thunder Bike could function well if he (Zordon) turned it into the Black Thunder Bike. And so, the alien did as the ninja-themed robot suggested.”

Yeah, that, some misc. “weird concept” sounding things, and maybe a few rare, production/nerdy things are all the pre-Zyuranger ones are going to be, plus, Tommy did research on them, which implies hidden, obscure evidence, and possible connections with various people…
…Not bad for Power Rangers, anything else they do, will likely follow the aforementioned, and perhaps some new surprises. I fully approve, plus, there’s symetry with the old seasons, while deliberately building towards new characters/settings, definitely good to the point of making you speechless.

How about this? Zordon had power rangers on Eltar before Earth, remember when Zordon and Alpha created the white ranger coin? always made sense!! why the white ranger is not a dinosaur like the other MMPR? Zordon only kept the kibaranger powers and gave the 5 dairanger powers (if they are called like that on Eltar) and other ranger powers to Gosei to hide and use them when necessary, finally Zordon felt that Tommy Oliver could use the kibaranger powers after the green ranger powers went dry because he proved himself to be worthy he received the powers and later called white tigerzord
