Press Release:
THE IMMORTAL RED FOX
“What does it take to be a hero? Purpose? Strength? A warrior’s curse? Magical weapons? Tight spandex and a cool name? Follow the story of the world’s most unfit hero! A transplant to Japan whose questionable luck landed him being either blessed or cursed (depending on how you look at it) with the powers of a 500 year old warrior. A warrior who kept the balance between the natural and supernatural realms. The Immortal Red Fox!!!
The Immortal Red Fox is Japanese live action inspired hero with a creative team spanning the USA, the Philippines, and Japan. The goal was to bring something new and interesting to the table for fans of Japanese live-action, Manga, American style comics, and even fans of pro wrestling. Our story focuses on an overconfident, overzealous protagonist who has assumed the mantle of an ancient hero unknowingly, but more importantly unwillingly. The Immortal Red Fox faces a great deal of challenges and absurdity on his first “day” as a superhero, including, but not limited to: A giant monster rampaging through Tokyo streets and the fact that every time Red Fox is slain throughout his journey he has to start his entire mission all over again.
To share this journey with you so you might revel in his misfortune, our creative team is bringing you live action shorts, behind the scenes vlogs to show you a bit of our process, as well as our flagship piece of work: An original English language Manga with full color pages that span The Immortal Red Fox’s first adventure in a Shonen Manga (action comic) one-shot format.
