Either I’ve got REALLY good eyes, or the usual silhouetting job they do is not so good. I can actually make out details of Mach’s costume, and it looks VERY Showa esque. As far as the helmet is concerned at any rate. I’m sure someone with some very good photoshop skills can clean up the images, and bring out the details, even if it’s just in black and white with what may be some yellow in there… Seriously, whoever did the silhouette job wasn’t thorough enough to get rid of the details and just leave the outline. Course, if someone doing that and posting it here gets this site into trouble… then best to leave things be…

The silhouette is fine it’s the low quality of the scan causing different color squares to appear and give the illusion of more details. They aren’t “teasing” anything more than an outline, if they wanted to put in more detail, they would just like they do with the magazine scans the week before he is in the show.

Thing is, I can make out some details, such as eyes, which have a slight red hue to them, there’s a line running down between the eyes with a couple more lines parallel to it, up until it reaches the mouth plate/mandibles. There is also a raised line that while it does run from the edges of the head, makes what appears to be a structure that resembles the visor of a motor cycle helmet. Though the visor is divided by the line that runs down the center of the helmet which is between his eyes. And similar to Showa Riders, his mouth plate/mandibles have a vaguely shield shape to it, with a line horizontally bisecting it near the top where the top corners of the shield shape lay, and a division line that runs down the middle of the plate, though it looks kind of like a pair of lines, hence, why it looks like a mandible plate.

I also considered that angle of the distortions, but I’m not so sure, why aren’t the other black pieces of both images showing off details that aren’t there? And why does it look like in both images I can see similar, if not entirely the same details on Mach’s helmet? Especially the close ups of his helmet? I can make out some other details on his body, but not quite clearly enough to give a good description except for some irregular rectangle shapes on his legs below the belt. The distortions in his case hinder this, but if a higher quality scan shows up, and it’s fully blacked out like the past scans of low quality that had distortions, but no clear details of the head or other body parts that “gave an illusion of details,” then I’ll believe you. But if the high quality scan shows similar details to what I’ve described, just really shaded out, it’ll put some serious doubt on your “illusion” theory, and make my shoddy photoshop theory all the more plausible. And once the official reveal comes out, that will prove once and for all if I’m just seeing things and your “illusion” theory is right, or if that really is what I’m seeing and is correct. Course, I could be making a shot in the dark based on “distortions giving the illusion of more details,” but if the reveal shows details I was scary close on, or spot on, despite a high quality scan showing a true blacked out silhouette, it’s going to be very hard to explain how I got the details right.

You hear this Keith Justice? Please find some high quality scans without distortions. I’m sure I’m right about this, but I would like confirmation either way. If I’m wrong, I’ll admit I was wrong and give this guy or girl their due. If I’m right, I won’t be shoving it in people’s faces. Please settle this, pretty please?
