Six months later
A New Department that deals with Global Freeze phenomena has been established, called Tokujo Division. Shinnosuke Tomari, a detective of Tokujo Division who is experienced in Global Freeze cases, gets ready to solve a case. He is actually a lazy detective. He calls himself a “Coward having no motivation”. His beloved car – Tridoron appears before him. While entering the car, a strange belt (Drive Driver) says “Haven’t you got motivated by now?”. The belt wraps around him by itself.
At the same moment another incident occurs. The belt drives Shinnosuke on Tridoron to the location of the incident. Shinnosuke transforms into Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed using the Drive Driver and Shift Car.
