Two Brand New Space Sheriff V-Cinema Movies have been announced for the end of the year, coming to Blu-Ray and DVD! Hit the jump for more information and trailer.
According to the announcement, the two films are written by Arakawa, with Director and Action Director being the fan favorite Koichi Sakamoto.
The “Space Sheriff Sharivan: Next Generation” movie is set to release October 10, while “Space Sheriff Shaider: Next Generation” will release November 7, both on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Riki Miura (Geki Violet / Gou Fukami) who had played Kai Hyuga / Space Sheriff Sharivan in Space Sheriff Gavan: THE MOVIE will return in this movie to play this role. Kai’s Sidekick will be played by Misaki Momose who had previously played Dino Girls – Lemnear in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: GABURINCHO OF MUSIC. Hiroshi Watari who had played Den Iga / Space Sheriff Sharivan in Space Sheriff Sharivan TV Series will also return to play the role in this movie. Hiroshi Watari who played Yousuke Jou / Jikuu Senshi Spielban in Jikuu Senshi Spielban TV Series and Boomerang in Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion TV Series, will also be making an appearance as the original Sharivan.
Shu Karasuma (Akira Date / Kamen Rider Birth) who had played Shu Karasuma / Uchu Keiji Shaider in Space Sheriff Gavan: THE MOVIE will return in this movie, reprising his role. Shu’s Sidekick will be played by Mayu Kawamoto. Noami Morinaga who had played Annie,the sidekick of Dai Sawamura /Space Sheriff Shaider in the Space Sheriff Shaider TV Series will also return to the role. She had also played Helen (Hellvira) in Jikuu Senshi Spielban. Hiroshi Tsuburaya (Grandson of Creator of Ultraman – Eiji Tsuburaya) who had played Dai Sawamura /Space Sheriff Shaider, unfortunately died on July 24, 2001, so as such, will not be reprising his role.
Yuga Ishigaki who had played Geki Jumonji / Space Sheriff Gavan type.G in Space Sheriff Gavan: THE MOVIE will appear in both the movies.

REALLY EXCITING NEWS CANT WAIT.. Predicted that would like to see koichi sakamoto direct the space sheriffs as he could bring in something refreshing to the movies and it looks like the original sharivan Den Iga played by none other than Hiroshi Wattari is gonna make an appearance too from the looks of it

FUCK YES!! I’m really fucking glad Toei hasn’t given up on Metal Heroes and Space Sheriffs! Unlike most of the people here, I fucking love Metal Heroes and Space Sheriffs, and I enjoyed the Gavan revival movie and Go-Busters crossover. Plus, through in Sakamoto into the mix, and it’s gonna be fucking amazing! So all of the haters can go suck it, because the Space Sheriffs are back!

I for one am quite excited on seeing Koichi Sakamoto finding new ways for exploitative skirt-thigh shots, sexy low-camera angles and all that ryona action with its female co-leads.
I mean wow, they even put one of them in Annie from Shaider cosplay, a
character whom the neckbeard of the most neckbeard fandom only know for
panty shots and starring in porn.

It’s a great announcement and it would have been the greatest announcement of all if all the original space sheriffs was there.
