Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders Revealed!

As Jump Fiesta comes to a close, the latest info for the remake of the Stardust Crusaders has been released. Jojo and his friends are back, but has the cast entirely returned from their debut in the All Star Battle video game? We got it the info here, so hurry up and check it out!

Jump Fiesta ran this weekend in Japan debuting a lot of new animes for the 2014 season and one of them was Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders. This series is actually a remake from a 13 part OVA that appeared in the 90’s and 2000’s. With the over whelming success of both Phantom Blood (Part 1) and Battle Tendency (Part 2) animes it was only natural that Stardust Crusaders(Part 3) would recieve an anime adaptation as well. Director Naokatsu Tsuda and series director Kenichi Suzuki are once again overseeing the adaptation of Hirohiko Araki‘s original manga at David Production. Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of the series scripts, and Masahiko Komino is designing the characters. What appeared as the first glimpse of the series core cast appeared in the Jojo’s All Star Battle video has sadly proven to be false, however both Jotaro’s actor and Dio’s actor who did Dio for Phantom Blood will continue their roles from the games and anime into this rendition. There will be a drastic change in the art style from the 90’s to the new anime, which is only natural as the animation process has improved vastly in the last 20 years. Further more David Productions announced that like how the art style changed from Phantom Blood to Battle Tendency, so to will the style change from Battle Tendency to Stardust Crusaders.

Jotaro Kujo: Daisuke Ono will be returning from All Star Battle to reprise Jotaro for the 2014 anime

Old Joseph Joestar: Unsho Ishizuka (Jet Black Cowboy Bebop) is the first of the cast to change actors. Previously from the end sequence of Battle Tendency and All Star Battle, Joseph was played by Tomokazu Sugita.

Kakyoin: Daisuke Hirakawa (Official Japanese dub voice for Orlando Bloom) will be replacing Koji Yusa from All Star Battle.

Jean Pierre Polnareff: Fuminori Komatsu( Japanese Dub Voice of Shia LaBeouf in Transformers) will be replacing Hiroaki Hirata from All Star Battle.
