Shougeki Gouraigan Images Glimpse The True Theme of the Show?

With the start of Shougeki Gouraigan beginning in a mere two weeks, a new wave of promotion photos has been released, showing a lighter side to the cast in normal every day situations. Like the one above, showing Black Condor’s actor, in a bath with the heroes of the show.

The show is the reunited duo of Keita Amemiya and Toshiko Inoue, who worked famously together on Jetman. Taking over Garo’s timeslot, Gouraigan was believed to be a dark and mature themed tokusatsu, but these images paint a very different picture of what the show may be. With 12 days to go, there is little information available and not even a trailer has aired yet, leaving the question of will the show be more akin to a comedy?

Shougeki Gouraigan begins airing on 4th October.
