Gundam Build Fighter: Cast And Crew Revealed!

The newest entry in the Gundam franchise has been announced and now we know who the cast and crew are! So strap in, charge up your beam rifle, and hit that link because we’re launching!The official website for the new Gundam Build Fighters anime series had finally released the names of the voice cast. The new Gundam anime is scheduled to premiere this October.

The main cast are as follows:

• Mikako Komatsu (K) as Sei Iori
• Sachi Kokuryu (Cross Fight B-Daman) as Reiji
• Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan) as China Kōsaka
• Takuya Satō (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures) as Tatsuya YÅ«ki,
• Minami Fujii as Mao Yasaka
• YÅ«ichi Nakamura (Guilty Crown) as Ricardo Fellini
• Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon) as Rinko Iori

The new anime will be set around Sei Iori,who is just starting middle school and the only son of a model and hobby shop owner. Sei is highly skilled at building GunPla,  but lacks experience in actual GunPla Battles. GunPla Battles are tournaments between Gundam model kits which become popular once again worldwide in the “Second GunPla Boom.”

Along with his friend Reiji, who is an accomplished Gundam Fighter, they fight for the GunPla Battle world championships. Other with characters that include Sei’s Rival Tatsuya YÅ«ki, nicknamed “Crimson Comet” with his Zaku Amazing, and Sei’s schoolmate, China Kōsaka.

Gundam Build Fighters will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki (No. 6) with scripts supervision of Yousuke Kuroda (Gundam 00). Kenichi Ohnuki (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed C.E.73: Stargazer) and Suzuhito Yasuda (Durarara!!, Devil Survivor 2 The Animation) will handle the character designs. The mecha designers are Kunio Okawara, Junichi Akutsu, Junya Ishigaki, Kanetake Ebikawa, and Kenji Teraoka. Various Gundams and mobile suits from the franchise are set to appear in the show along with new custom variants never before seen until now. The series is set to debut this fall in October.
