Great news folks! Level 5 via Twitter has announced that Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright will be coming out in North America and Europe sometime in 2014! The game saw a release last year in Japan.
Professor Layton, Luke Triton, Phoenix Wright, and Maya Fay find themselves in the mysterious Labyrinth City. They meet a young girl named Mahoney Kataiucia whom has been accused of being a witch. Phoenix tries to defend Mahoney but realizes this world’s laws are very different from his own. He meets Professor Layton whom is also trying to solve the mysteries of the city, the two don’t always see eye to eye.
The game takes aspects of Professor Layton’s puzzle solving segments and combines it with the Trial and cross examination system from the Phoenix Wright game.
