Matt Austin from Power Rangers SPD also weighs in on why we may not be seeing a lot of our favorite Rangers may not return, especially from the Disney Era. We’ll have to wait and see how Super Megaforce turns out. If this is any indication at the very least (and he is far from least) we may see Jason David Frank show up… hopefully donning the Green once again. We’ll keep you posted. Check out Matt’s post after the jump.

This is why I hate “Power Rangers” always treating your people like they are disposable things. I honestly hope many of the former rangers, refuse to pay for their way to be on an anniversary show.

heaven forbid they cut funding to the hundreds of suit actors and costume makers they had to hire for this season just to fly someone out for maybe two days or a week … saban is not cheap if he was they would not have to re-film almost the entire season

This is also why in japan they only have 50 episode seasons and that cast is done. only a select few actors have done the series as a new character. I mean if you look at it saban messed up the cycle when they didnt show Dai Ranger. etc etc anyway. I am moving on I already watched mega force and thought it was bad. but its for the kids that is why I am straight Kyouryuuger now. its a funny but well put together sentai.

Did Disney care about PR? Not really. They saw it as a cash cow until ratings slipped and Marvel came into the picture. Case in point, RPM’s time slot and pull from XD and Remastered. It’s the crew that cared about PR and it showed no matter how the season turned out. Star Wars I will wait and see what they do.
