As a whole, the book has a lot of inconsistencies and errors. It’s just a minor adventure and makes the TV series look good.

(Which is really saying something, considering how bad it was)

I wonder that was what Narutaki really wanted in the main Series? To make his ideal world.

you really think novel was supposed to be as canon as TV series? for all we know, novel is what the producers wanted to do. Kiva is a fangire form, two girls of Faiz had sex, an episode special about a Yummy out of Birth, the fate of Kenzaki after being Joker… novel is just like literature fanfiction, but official

Too bad that doesn’t mean it’s good.

It depends how they’re written as and most of them are written by the head writers of their respective series. Blade’s novel and the second Faiz novel are supposed to be a continuation to the series. The birth yummy was made up in-universe.
I really want to know who Narutaki really is, it may take a long time but at least the answer will be revealed eventually.

the only thing i feel true about narutaki is that he is foundation x’s real leader. that’s the only group with no clear leader. and that’s because the leader is busy with decade.

Huh, I hadn’t thought about that. Maybe that was where the Doctor memory from movie war 2010 came from.

Wow. And I complain about the series. Somehow this was far, far worse. The writer clearly had not watched either Kuuga or Decade, but sure as hell watched and loved Kabuto, so this turned into “OMG TENDOU YOU SO COOL”, while being entirely wrong about Kuuga and Decade’s abilities (seriously, sword in Mighty Form? Rhinoceros beetle Gouram? Clock Up as Kuuga? What?).

The plot seems to be really weird too, and not in a good way. I have no idea what they were thinking on this one…

You read a [frankly] poorly written review of the book. You have no idea what they were thinking because you didn’t read it yourself.

At this point in Toei’s history, they should just fire all their sub-par writers and leave their best projects to Riku Sanjou. At least he knows what he’s doing with the characters.

This is just painful. I like Decade, a lot, but this is just dumb. It looks like the only thing they got right was Decade transforms with a DecaDriver
