Earlier today, December 6, a press conference about the upcoming Super Sentai show, Juden Sentai Kyoryuger, was held in Tokyo. The team consists of Red, Black, Blue, Green and Pink. The show will be a lot brighter and more cheerful than previous shows, making it a lighthearted show featuring a lot of samba rhythms. The theme this time is ‘charging‘ (juden - 充電, a pun on the title), they use Beast Batteries with dinosaur souls charged in them.
The Kyoryuger transform with the GabRevolver. They also have dinosaur partners.
- Red – Gabutyra (T-Rex)
- Black – Parasagan (Parasaurolophus)
- Blue – Stegotchi (Stegosaurus)
- Green – Zactor (Velociraptor)
- Pink – Tricera (Triceratops)
Gabutyra, Stegotchi and Tricera are used to combine into KyoryuJin. Parasagan and Zactor are interchangeable parts. The robot has voice gimmicks that kids will love. Shigeru Chiba, a famous voice actor, will do some voice acting for Kyoryuger.

This would be the 3rd Super Sentai team without a yellow ranger, the first two were JAKQ and Battle Fever J. However if this becomes a Power Rangers season then it would be the 1st time the Power Rangers didn’t have a yellow ranger.

Why would they? They earn tons of more money this way, it’d be an idiotic business move for Toei to pull out of the Power Rangers market.

Interesting that this’ll be two series in a row in recent that doesn’t have two female sentai. Wonder if that’ll change when the 6th ranger is revealed or not.

Sounds like a mix of Abaranger and Go-onger. Not bad. Looking forward to it.
