I actually agree with Angie about the opening. It’s cheesy, in a bad way, especially the cast standing in a V-shape and crossing their arms. The idea is to look cool, but it seriously doesn’t. Though I don’t feel strongly about it as she seems to ^_^ . Maybe just mildly annoyed.

To be honest, I thought Mr Brain was not that great. It was good, but not one of the best. The facts are great, and the cast are awesome, but there are too many hiccups for me to want to watch it and rewatch it(something I tend to do with J-dramas). Anyway, my favorite case is the “Forgotten Memories” case. Which are you guys’ favorite case?

For Hana Kimi, the Sano-Mizuki drama plot, the “main” plot in the show, is definitely the weakest part of the series. Even after it revealed Mizuki’s role in Sano getting injured, the whole story point is still really shaky and it’s really just Mizuki is being a creepy stalker.

The series’ main strength is definitely the comedy(and the acting, which is unusual for a slapstick comedy show). I also really love the directing, and the whole feel of the show, just embracing how crazy and surreal everything is and amp it up to eleven and beyond.

Thanks! I’m really glad I’m not the only one with qualms about the opening song. ^_^; Still a great song in general though, just… y’all already know how I feel about it, lol.

Anyway, my favorite case is the one with the woman with multiple personality disorder. I enjoyed the intricacies of the case and I really like how Tsukumo really felt for her and was hesitant to get to the bottom of this case in particular.

In terms of HanaKimi, I agree with you on all points. Blade and I couldn’t really get *everything* we wanted to say about HanaKimi (especially since we thought up more points to bring up *after* we filmed for a couple of hours), but the biggest compliment I can give HanaKimi is it’s a drama that really lends itself to multiple re-watches. I always find something new and fun, whether it’s finding a new toku actor or noticing all the little background hilarity the rest of the cast is doing during the physical comedy sequences. It’s really just that great.

Thank you so much for your feedback! <3
