Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (ç£é›»æˆ¦éšŠã‚ョウリュウジャー)!  Trademarks for what seems to be next Super Sentai series seems to be have registered under the ID 2012-65209! Jyuden consists of the two kanji characters, beast and electricity, while kyoryu means dinosaur. So the next Sentai series is most likely another dinosaur based show.

I bet this is also to commemorate mighty morphin power rangers.
(I know it’s an adaptation of zyuranger but MMPR impacted pop culture and introduced whole amount of the western fandom to know the tokusatsu genre as their gateway and had fandom in other regions who had watched sentai before power rangers to increase respect and take further interest in tokusatsu .)
This could be TOEI’S Company’s power rangers birthday gift to saban as of 2013 of august is the 20th anniversary of the power rangers franchise . If it was not for saban adapting the super sentai series to western shores. The Super sentai franchise would have not lasted this long and could have been cancelled like metal heroes or put on hiatus like kamen rider did.
If adapted into power rangers, this will create a nostalgic element of the original show MMPR (like dino thunder did) (the 90’s is the new 80’s ) meaning TOEI and Saban can make money from the show along with merchandise. TOEI’s trying the kids love dinosaurs theme to make money while even if it does not work, they will be relying on saban for help merchandise the show with the show’s adaptation..

ANOTHER prehistoric animal motif? I’ll channel my inner conspiracy theorist and bet that since they own both franchises, I think Toei intentionally fuels the rumor mill by tossing out bogus concepts, motifs, designs and casting announcements in order to drum up publicity, which happens with EVERY Sentai/Kamen Rider series. Ever notice how the “next series” is “announced” 2/3-3/4 of the way through the current series? Remember Hyakki Sentai Hidenger? Or Genki Sentai Baruganger? How about Kamen Rider Rize, or Kamen Rider Saido, ALL of which were debunked not long after they were announced. If I’m wrong, fine, but I’m waiting until the actual, certified, official announcement myself

didnt know about the rumors. thought it was the official registration that confirms the show’s start to production.
If it’s another theme I wonder what it will be ? If the trademark is right, TOEI and Saban can really make use of the dinosaur theme idea for both franchises
