JEFusion.Com broke the news a couple hours ago. Some consider GARO to be absolutely one of the greatest if not THE greatest toksuatsu of all time. At least that’s my personal take. Action always set to 11, and each episode better than the last. It even had one of the greatest clip-shows I’d ever seen. Garo is a fun ride for sure, but it’s not the greatest toku of all time. Why, just because it has good SFX and it’s “dark”? Because it has nudity? The setting and the lore are great, but the original show’s story itself, while not bad, wasn’t exactly innovative. I’d say shows like Metalder and KR Kuuga have more ultimate significance than does Garo.
