Sponichi just wrote an article about the upcoming Let’s Go Kamen Rider! movie and it’s not Hiroshi Fujioka who’s reprising their original role. Rider #2 and V3 are both coming back to do the voices as well!
The first Rider, Hiroshi Fujioka, is appearing as well!
Hiroshi Fujioka, Takeshi Sasaki and Hiroshi Miyauchi will all appear in the movie. However, they will only be doing their voices. They will not be seen in the actual movie.
The last time the three of them appeared together was in Five Riders vs. King Dark, which was 37 years ago.
This year is the 40th Anniversary of Kamen Rider. The producer Shichirou Shirakura said “The children 40 years ago watched Kamen Rider and they are now parents. Their children are watching the modern Kamen Rider. Together, they can watch this movie and enjoy it together.”
The three of them will be dubbing their voices during the start of February. #1 and #2 will be greeting each other by shouting “Ichimonji!” and “Hongou”, while V3 will do his famous “V3” shout. Old fans will surely shed a tear when seeing this scene.
#1 and #2 will appear as villains for the first time. They’ve both been brainwashed by the organization of evil, Shocker and they’ve lost the heart of justice.
