Earlier, we reported on the Gaist Crusher series; Capcom’s latest endeavor that partners them up with Bandai to release a  tie in toy line ala Skylanders. The official website for the anime adaptation just launched, revealing the cast and crew that’s behind this project. The anime will be debuting on October 2nd on TV Tokyo.
A new high purity energy source is found in the year 2047. The metal ore, found at a depth of 160,000 feet below of the Earth’s surface, is called Gaimetal. Once its capacity as a new energy source is discovered, people all over the world begin mining it. In the year 2055, creatures covered in Gaimetal, known as Gaist, appear all over the world and begin attacking people. Using the world’s super science, a team known as the Gaist Crusher Garrison (GCG) is formed. Its members are able to suit up and become the greatest hope against the threat of the Gaist.

The Gaist Crusher 3DS video game will be due out on December 5rh, 2013 while the toy line’s first wave will be coming out early November. So far, there still has been no word on a western localization of this series.
