The insane fighting game BlazBlue will be receiving it’s own TV series in the form of BlazBlue Alter Memory coming soon. So hit the link to see what this series with has in store for us!BlazBlue is the spiritual successor to Arc System Works’ smash hit Guilty Gear(which is finally getting a true sequel) and after several renditions since it’s original conception of 2008’s BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger the game is getting the anime treatment which is set to air this fall. For those unfamiliar with the game here’s a video.
The series itself is set to debut during the fall anime season which is in October. Much like the game the series with follow the adventures of Ranga The Bloodedge. The series synopsis is as follows:
The story is set in December of 2199, with the streets full of anticipation for the end of the year and the start of the new one. Amid the celebrations, word spreads that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel with the highest ever bounty on his head, has appeared in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. The apparent aim of Ragna or the “Grim Reaper” is the destruction of the system controlling the world. To collect the bounty, a motley array of unrivaled fighters converge on Kagutsuchi.
The following cast has been revealed:
- Tomokazu Sugita (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures also reprising role from the game) as Ragna the Bloodedge
- Kanako Kondou( Reprising role from the game) as Noel Vermillion
- Tetsuya Kakihara (Fairy Tail also reprising role from the game) as Jin Kisaragi
- Kana Ueda( Fate/Stay also reprising role from the game) as Rachel Alucard
- YÅ«ichi Nakamura ( Fairy Tail also reprising role from the game) as Hazama
- Chiwa Saito (Gundam 00 also reprising role from the game) as Taokaka
- Chiaki Takahashi (Pokemon: Best Wishes Season 2 also reprising role from the game) as Litchi Faye-Ling
- Kenji Nomura (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures and Kinnikuman also reprising role from the game) as Iron Tager
- Asami Imai (Steins; Gate also reprising role from the game) as Tsubaki Yayoi
- Chie Matsuura (Reprising role from the game) as Kokonoe
- Tomomi Isomura (Reprising role from the game) as Makoto Nanaya
Once again the series is set to premier this October.
