Yes. That’s a Sentai Character on a Power Rangers ACG Card.
I’ll just let that sink in for a moment.
Bandai has handed me yet another exclusive preview of Power Rangers ACG cards, this time, 3 cards from Set 3. And, while one of the cards they gave me to show you are cool, 2 of them are absolutely mind blowing.
The above card features Mega Pink alongside MomoRanger in the style of the previously revealed Dual Ranger cards. This one, however, does not come with dual symbols.
Next, we have Mega Red with Samurai Red.
This one has a dual symbol, rocking both Ally and Shield.
One final card to show you guys today.
Here we have KiRanger with MegaYellow in yet another shoutout to the Sentai.
This is completely unprecedented in the Power Rangers universe. Baring the parody dub of Abaranger in Dino Thunder, this is the first example of Saban openly calling back to the origins of Power Rangers in a tangible form that their target audience will see. The fact that they call all the way back to GoRanger also gives me high hopes for the possibilities in the show.
According to Andy at Bandai,
“We got permission from Saban to print these cards since they are paired with Megaforce; however, Sentai cards will be few knowing that it is not everyone’s cup of tea.â€
This makes sense to me. This means that we should keep look out, in this set and the sets to come, for more Sentai Rangers paired with our Power Rangers.
How do you feel about this? Will you use these cards in your Decks? What Sentai-Only Rangers would YOU like to see? Leave your thoughts in the comments, and get ready for the next Set 3 Preview: Dino Thunder!

EDIT: I misnamed the Rangers in the cards. The names have been updated to reflect the proper names. Thank you to the commentors who pointed it out!

The sentai rangers in the cards above are MomoRanger and KiRanger. GoYellow and GoPink are from GoGoV a.k.a Lightspeed Rescue in the american version.

That is MomoRanger, not GoPink. And KiRanger.

Thanks for catching my mistake, guys.
I admit I’m not super familiar with most of the older sentai.

I woudn’t expect anyhting pre Zyu to be showing up in the series. This is clearly just Bandai releasing their entire catalog of the Cardass series into America, I doubt this has any tie in with Saban besides the very loose anniversary and both sides want as much money as they can get from fans..
