You heard it right. The story starts at the 00:30 mark and hits at the 5:15 mark in their Lexington Con Panel. Due to their pretty freaking hilarious antics at last year’s Power Morphicon, they are not invited back. I’ve been a long time detractor of Bulk & Skull. Not a fan of those two characters since the show started looonnng ago now. I feel characters purely for comedy relief get in the way of the plot, action and characters we tune in to see develop and watch overcome adversity. That said… THE FANS LOVE THEM!!! They’re as iconic to the franchise as any Jason, Tommy, Zack or Kimberly. And as people THEY ARE AWESOME. At the last morphicon I mentioned to Paul Schrier that I wasn’t a fan, and he took it like a total bro. He was understanding, kind, didn’t get angry and I think I bought him a drink afterwards. And they can rock the living hell out of a convention panel. I missed their break out panel at the first legendary Morphicon because I wasn’t a fan, but the fans coming out of the panel were saying how amazing it was I made sure to hit up their next. Sure enough that duo can light up a room like no one else can. It is a serious shame, but as mentioned in a previous story their panel cost the Morphicon a lot of money, even though it seems they were prepared to do clean up. I hope the ban doesn’t last forever and if you hear that they’ll be at another convention, GO TO THEIR PANEL! I wish them the best of luck and they forever have my thanks for all the laughs. So instead of saying “Hey guys, we gotta be more careful next time, you know?” they’re thrown to the wolves because of a pie fight? Then, the fans don’t get the best part of these conventions anymore? Really?

I think it was the convention center or maybe some other legal thing that brought this about. PMC is run by fans. They wouldn’t do something like this to the convention out of nowhere. Because Jason and Paul brought A LOT to the Morphicon experience. I don’t think this was done lightly or by the PMC staff specifically.

Air walls are expensive. From my understanding that comes right out of con pocket money. It was going to cost about a grand. Bit mistake. Though a lot of the blame could be put up on Morphicon too. If they knew there was going to be pie involved ( and face it, it’s Bulk and Skull there is ALWAYS pie involved) they should have put up tarps on said air walls and been prepared..
