My beloved, beloved, beloved, beloved grandmother is now resting in heaven.
She’d always be my side, she’d always help me whenever I needed, she’d always support me.
I loved eating her pickled nukazuke, I loved the onigiri she used to make…
Even now, I can see her smile and hear her laughter.
She is always with our family. She is always watching over us.
I’m sad and regret that she won’t be able to see me in a wedding dress.
From here on, I’ll live my life to the fullest, as my grandmother would have wanted.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me so, Grandma.
I’m so happy and blessed that I was your grandchild.

I’ve finally said my firm goodbyes to my beloved grandmother.
I won’t cry any more.
If I keep crying, my grandmother won’t be able to rest in peace. As my friends would say.
I’m happy that I have friends I can rely on.
I’ll keep on walking forward, with my grandmother in my heart.
When I became as old as she was, I’d like to be just like her, a loving grandmother with grandchildren perhaps even great-grandchildren!!
I’ll even make nukazuke, just like she always did!!
My grandchildren will eat it and then pass of as tradition.
For now, I’m living with my new dog Lin and Bambi.
This house is just getting more lively~
So rest in peace, Grandma.
