Well, well, well…. the Gosei Morpher here is doing the job of the Gokai Cellular… and are those Ranger Strike Cards? Again, I’ll be VERY surprised if they totally skip on using the Gokaiger costumes as that’s money left on the table. But this original usage of Goseiger suits and equipment is going to be VERY interesting to see. And with the promise of old school cameos, Power Ranger MegaForce is shaping up to be a show most of us aren’t going to want to miss. Hit the jump for the demo.

The pirate theme was skipped because of the MPAA & RIAA going after “pirates” and they don’t want to use the Gokaiger costumes to promote “piracy”. Get it?

Actually, it was because Saban is under contract not to skip footage from ANY season, so they HAD to use Goseiger.

Exactly! this proves nothing, especially since in gokaiger, ranger keys didn’t specify ranger color, and it’s really stupid to think that nowadays there would EVER be a skipped sentai adaptation. the other red ranger cards are likely there to promote the card game

I could be wrong, but I am fairly certain the Tensounder toys from Goseiger also were compatible to past-Ranger-cards without the Goseigers ever turning into said Rangers. :B So, no conclusive evidence here whatsoever.

this all rumor at this point, as when the Japanese sentai was out these other character cards were introduced as a gimmick for the arcade machine they had.

I really hope they don’t mess up Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger… I’ve been really hoping to see the power rangers adaption of this, and I would love it if they keep it the way it should be.

Not sure about why all of these Gokaiger comments are coming out? Everything I read points to Megaforce being Saban’s bastardization of Goseiger? It is also the next toku series after Samurai.
They can always find ways to bring past rangers into the series (cards) as it is the 20th anniversary without using the ranger key gimmick of Gokaiger. Though the keys were pretty inventive.
I was never a big fan of Goseiger (in Japan) and both Samurai and Gokaiger were much better series. I’d even say Go-Buster is better and Go-Onger (even though it was really campy) was clearly better than Goseiger.
