Shinichiro Shirakura, who produced the first Superhero Taisen, confirms himself as the producer for the upcoming Superhero Taisen 2 through his twitter.Â
A person asked him on twitter if he’d be the producer for Superhero Taisen 2, Shirakura responded by saying that he indeed would be the producer and that the title Superhero Taisen 2 is only temporary. The movie doesn’t exactly continue were the first one left off, hinting that it will be something new and different.

To be fair, producers don’t have as much to do with the final product as the directors do. With any luck we’ll get Sakamoto or Shojiro Nakazawa (Wizard’s director) for the next one.

I just really3000x hope it’ll be a fatal-4-way taisen between Kamen Riders vs Super Sentai vs Metal Heroes vs (somewhat shrunken-by-evil-spells) Ultramens.

So there’s a chance the second one will be a new story. It doesn’t matter when it comes to quality.
