Today, Garo: Dragon of the Blue Cry had it’s first screening today at the Tokyo International Film Festival. On the green carpet was all the stars, the films director Keita Amiyama and famous actress Keiko Matsuzaka, the villain of the movie.
Keiko Matsuzaka is a well known actress in Japan, her Filmography ranges from both film and television for over 40 years. Keiko plays the evil Judam, Queen of the Promised Land where Kouga is journeying through. She is a brutally evil character, but with an innocence of a little girl. She said she had fun doing the action scenes and despite celebrating her sixtieth birthday this year, she still engaged with wirework for the first time and found it to be a challenge.
The movie will be released publicly throughout Tokyo in February next year.
