“I would rather watch it subbed online than butchered, dumbed down and americanized to suit the PC BSers that are modern parents.” The elitest KR fandom’s reaction to your statement.

      Jokes aside..

I believe that if the series did get adapted and done well, one of two possible things could happen.

      1. It will lead to the usual mass marketing blitz with toys, video games etc. and be popular with the kiddies.

      2. It will tank in the ratings for being a “Power Rangers Clone” even though it’s well written and get cancelled. Kids these days have a very narrow attention span and probably would rather watch the Annoying Orange on youtube for hours. (Why in gods name did he get a tv show?)

I would hope for #1.. but I do have concerns about how they are going to do it…

its kind of hard to predict what would happen if they do it. especially due to the fact that saban owns the block. so i guess they will have a bit more freedom but you never know.

hell even dragon knight got decent ratings and emmy. so we got toys and a video game that made me pretty happy and i still watch it from time to time. matt mullins is a great fighter so we got some good non suit martial arts action. something we rarely even see in the japanese kamen rider series

vortex will have WW Saturday morning slam, DBZ kai , PR Lost galaxy, yugioh/yugioh zexal, and from what I’ve heard Iron Man armored adventures and Justice League Unlimited. This is alot of good content, but my fear is that with marvel, DC, and power rangers all owned by separate stations for now, it will be hard to round up new stuff until at least 2014, which might lead to another dump and run for Saturday morning content on broadcast t.v.
