Mission Sentai Go-Busters has just aired in Japan this morning, but the toys went on sale across the country Saturday morning, and it’s selling fast!
The shop we visited Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara was stacked up high in boxes and queues for the toys were lined up outside populated by adults before it even opened in 9am. The Fourze Driver went out of stock at Christmas and even now it’s still hard to come by and selling for more than double it’s original price of 6,825 yen ($87/£56), so Bandai has made sure to keep everywhere well stocked. We spoke to a shop keeper in the busy shopping district, “Typically the toys are released on the day the first episode airs, but this year Bandai changed it to the day before because they expected high demands.“.
The Morphin Brace is selling for roughly 3500 yen($45/£28). You can watch the Morphin Brace and the the Buster weapons in action when HJU went to Press Event.
