The guest star of Shinkenger’s tribute arc in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is none other than the 18th head of Shiba, Kaoru Shiba!
Kaoru will be in episode 11 and 12. These two episodes will also reveal more of Joe’s past.
Navi tells the Gokaiger crew to be careful of Samurais. Thus, they head out to search for people wielding swords. Â While searching, Joe suddenly remembers his senior who taught him everything he knew about swords. 
The one who taught Joe everything was a man called Sid. Sid and Joe used to work for Zangyack together, however for some reason Joe left Zangyack and met Captain Marvelous, who recruited him for his pirate crew. Sid was eventually remodeled by Zangyack and became Barizorg.
While searching for a person wielding a sword, the crew eventually comes across Kaoru Shiba. Kaoru Shiba uses her Shinkenmaru and challenges the Gokaigers in order to retrieve the Shinkenger Ranger Keys. If Joe wins, the Gokaiger’s will win the powers of the Shinkengers. However, the team must first find their bonds. Kaoru’s retainer, Tanba, will make a cameo appearance in these episodes.
Yuji Kishi, the actor of Red Racer from Gekisou Sentai Carranger, is set to appear in episode 14 where he’s playing the “actor”, Kyosuke Jinnai. Navi tells the crew to find an ordinary citizen with a monkey face.
