To say Youmacon 2008 took a decidedly unforgettable turn this year would probably be understatement in its purest form. But there’s a very good reason for this. And that reason came in the form of a comedy skit that was being filmed there that featured some of our regulars at the forums, including kC, Kimiden, Forgotten Transformation, Faded.Memories and of course….Keith himself. Rounding out the cast was none other than veteran martial arts actor/stuntman, Mark Musashi, who was also making an appearance.
Now…during the filming of said skit, which called for Mark and Keith to get into a staged fight, something very unexpected happened, and the culmination of this was our beloved leader taking a blow–quite literally–for both his art and for his dignity.
In short…Mark clocked him. Purely by accident, of course.
Needless to say, everyone in attendance went to see if Keith was all right, as according to an eyewitness account by Faded, he literally spun at the force of the punch. Thankfully, he was and after applying some much needed ice to the point of impact, the rest of the skit went on as planned.
Keith himself had this to say about the experience:
“Imagine a sledgehammer pounding you in the eye and then that eye into slime. It was AWESOME.”

Aws.. Isn’t there footage of the actual hit? XD No offense, just they said you spun through the air & that’s one of those, gotta see it things. Glad you are alright though, that must have sucked alittle atleast, even though it was by Mark Musashi.
