I saw this over from our friends at Morphin Legacy. And then again on Rhett Fisher‘s Twitter account. He states that he saw no script, so there’s no way of knowing what role he would have played. It would have been super cool to see what he’s been up to since the fall of the Aqua Base and how the Lightspeed Rangers continued their fight against threats or to see if they went full time as rescue agents. Now…. we’ll never know.
He would have been a VERY unique choice as there was no Japanese equivalent for him and that would pretty much make an all original episode for him with no Gokaiger analog to follow. Besides Joel chewing the scenery, the Titanium Ranger was the greatest thing out of Light Speed Rescue and one of the most unique Ranger stories we’ve ever beheld. Keep this in mind the next time you see the creators at a convention. I’d love to know the story behind how he was almost chosen, what almost was, and all the whys as to how it fell apart.
If you’d like to know more about Lightspeed Rescue… you should watch this:

Your phrasing of it actually makes it more depressing than when you first think of it :p
