This was an inevitable release, but Bluefin just announced that an S.H.Figuarts MMPR Red Ranger with the Dragon Shield Armor will be due out for release!
Information on this remains scares, but we do know that this will be released in November 2013 in Japan as a Tamashi Web Exclusive while the North America release date has yet to be disclosed.

And my interest in getting these figuarts get lower and lower. So does this mean each will get a release with a shield? Rip-off.

Probably not. This armour set was a once off thing that actually happened later in the series. So this is pretty accurate actually.

shows much of a fan you are of the series. there was an actual episode where Tommy gave his shield to Jason and another episode to Zack.

Yeah if you remember Tommy gave his power coin to Jason allowing Jason to access the Dragon Zord and such after Tommy left. Best instance of this usage was when the rangers fought Cardiotron.

didn’t Zack get it too once? I don’t know if Goushi ever got it from Burai (haven’t quite finished the series yet) but it’d be kinda cool if Zack got the shield as well. I would also love to see the shield on the other Rangers as a concept figure part of the line. I know that will never happen, but it would be cool
