We had previously reported on Change Griffin appearing in Gokagier and we’ve heard of rumbles of a dream team of sorts to collect back the powers that Basco had stolen. After airing the 48th episode today, Toei’s Official Gokaiger web site confirmed 5 returning past heroes!
The Five Returning Heroes…
Takayuki Godai
Takayuki played Vul-Eagle in Sun Force Sun Vulcan. Just like Gavan, it’s been 30 years since he acted in Sentai. He was happy to play a part in Gokaiger. He heard a lot of rumours about Gokaiger a long time ago. Just when he wondered if they would contact him he got offered a part. One of the Super Task Force Series with the biggest Fan-base, and one of the series that remain the most in the memories of the Gokaiger Staff. The staff was very glad to see his revival.
Kazuoki Takahashi
Not only did Kazuoki play Change Griffon in Electric Shock Force Changeman, he will also be one of the people who will join us in the next episode. Just like in the old days, he is someone who really brings a good atmosphere to the set. It sure didn’t seem as if he was away from the acting business to us. He told us many stories about the suit actors and the problems they faced with the combat scenes and the photographings. He told them so well and cheerfully. We will never forget his facial expressions when he told us stories.
Kihachiro Uemura
The Gokaiger Suit actors showed their skills to Kihachiro, who played Green Flash in Supernova Flashman. He has a great sense of action and showing how it should be done. For this appearance in the show was inevitable. He actually put on the Green Flash suit, he stunned us by putting up such a sharp performance after so many rears, he still hasn’t gone soft. He has so many energy that he is able to fight even without changing. Let’s watch his energetic performance.
Issei Hirota
It looks like Issei, who played Blue Mask in Lightning Task Force Maskman, had a lot of fun after a long absense in the acting business. The shooting might have been short but his chinese martial arts are still sharp. He took his own Chinese martial arts swords to the set for the shooting. The steel of that sword amazed the staff when he made the poses he did back in the days. Just like Dai, he can still fight. Be sure to watch it.
Ryou Narushima
Ryou, who played Five Yellow in Earth Force Fiveman, joined the shooting with an elegant smile. It appears that she has been watching Gokaiger closely since it aired. After a long time she took up her role as Remi again at the Toei Studios. She made a brilliant performance in her Five Yellow Suit. Don’t miss Remi’s unchanged elegant smile.
