The rubber red carpet has been rolled out for Ultraman these past few months. The giant monster-fighting superhero franchise has seen action on TV screens, streaming platforms, and home media everywhere, both in live-action and animated forms, with even more on the way. This includes the upcoming television premieres of Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Ginga, and Ultraman Ginga S.

This, of course, comes to us courtesy of TOKU, the Olympusat Inc. TV station branded by its affinity for action, special effects, and anime gems the likes of which we at Henshin Justice Unlimited just don’t know how to quit.

In the past, they’ve already aired classic tokusatsu series like Ultraman Leo and Gridman: The Hyper Agent as well as animated title The☆Ultraman, the first of its kind but not the last. Suffice it to say, they really like Ultraman and his assorted super-fam from Japan’s Tsuburaya Productions.

1998’s Ultraman Gaia was the third and final Ultra Series of the 90s era, featuring lead hero Gaia and his ultimate rival, the strikingly blue-suited rogue Ultraman Agul. The two would go on to make appearances in many related titles, including 2017’s Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga, the awesomeness of which we’re almost getting sick of blabbing about around these parts. Almost.

2013’s Ultraman Ginga premiered to mixed reception but was soon followed by the more celebrated Ultraman Ginga S. The sequel (of sorts) gave us a common thread between the Ginga story and the Gaia story in that both key protagonists met a contentious ally of equal power in their fight against the monster hordes flooding their world. In this case, it was the headstrong Ultraman Victory.

Ultraman Ginga premieres first on February 8, 2018 and will air every weekday at 7:30 PM EST. Ultraman Gaia premieres the following day, February 9, 2018. It airs weekdays at 7:00 PM EST. Ultraman Ginga S premieres immediately following the end of its predecessor on February 24, 2018, airing weekdays at 7:30 PM EST.
