As reported last week, Hyper RPG has begun its new streaming series Power Rangers Hyperforce, the live tabletop RPG show, courtesy of Twitch. Continuing with their releases of each episode recording, the show’s second episode has dropped. And hopefully, you’ve still got a bit of the Halloween spirit left in you, because Hyperforce definitely does.
The costumes are out in full force for this 2.5-hour episode, including a pretty spiffy samurai outfit for Power Rangers star Paul Schrier, whose list of credits in the franchise is as long as a Chrono Saber, not limited to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers in Space, and of course, Power Rangers Samurai.
In all that time, he’s never quite known what it’s like to be a Ranger himself, though not for lack of trying, as his high school comic relief foil Bulk hatched a thousand schemes to unmask the heroes of his town or even join their ranks as a hero in his own right. Sadly, he and his sidekick Skull were more likely to unmask a banana (then slip on it) than a Power Ranger, through their many years on the show. Hyperforce offers him a taste of that spandex life. And, love it or hate it, at least someone gave him something to fight besides flying cream pies.
Power Rangers Hyperforce streams live every Tuesday at 9PM PT from HyperRPG.
