2015 is the 40th Anniversary of the Super Sentai series. Bringing forth the 39th team of Super Sentai heroes, the NINNINGER, who made their first ever stage appearances to the public and the Press on both the 24th and 25th of January at the Tokyo Dome`s Prism Hall. Henshin Justice was present for all the action.

SHURIKEN SENTAI NINNINGER will begin TV broadcast February 15th on TV Asahi Networks nationwide in Japan. The history of Ninja themes in Sentai began with NINJA SENTAI KAKURANGER in 1994, then continued in 2002 with NINPU SENTAI HURRICANGER. Since then, 13 years have passed, bringing forth a new group of young kids to make full use of Shuriken Ninja powers, in a fierce battle against an evil Kiba-Oni Yokai group and with the task to obtain the title of `Last Ninja` alongside their grandfather.

The Shuriken Sentai NinNinger cast consists of Nishikawa Shunsuke playing Igasaki Takaharu (AkaNinja), Matsumoto Gaku as Kato Cloud Yakumo (AoNinja), Nakamura Kaito as Matsuo Nagi (KiNinja), Yano Yuka as Igasaki Fuuka (ShiroNinja) and Yamaya Kasumi as Momochi Kasumi (Momo Ninja). Two very important supporting characters include Yashiba Toshihiro playing Igasaki Tsumuji (Aka and Shiro Ninja`s Father). He`s also the son to the 2nd important supporting character known as the Grandfather to the team and the `Last Ninja` being played by Sasano Takashi AKA Igasaki Yoshitaka. Sasano last acted in Tokusatsu 20 years ago in the Metal Hero series `Juukou B-Fighter`.

“This Sentai is based very much on family values, therefore everybody gets along. The time spent on set feels like we are all truly one big family putting this awesome series together,” says Nishikawa Shunsuke (Aka Ninja) who hints at having very much enjoyed Sentai in his younger years. “It’s obvious that the kids and of course adults will enjoy the show, though with this Sentai`s theme being NINJA, it may be possible to attract even a foreign audience!”

At the total of 9 public stage presentations and a special limited access Media Press Conference it was revealed that this series will focus on many interesting sounds, including that for the Henshin sequence everybody loves.「NIN NIN NIN! NIN NININNIN! WASHOI, NINJA!」

The ending song will also be one of those everybody wants to get up and dance type of songs. The dance choreography coordinated by the famous Lucky Ikeda (ラッキー池田）, known for his involvement in the hit TV Anime `YOKAI WATCH`.

TOEI Producer Naomi Takebe adds “We wanted to make this a Hollywood style Ninja flick where pretty much `anything goes`. A Festive Robot, Dragon and just the use of anything and many fun sounds!”

For action, the use of wires and acrobatics are for sure a go. However this time, setting a new challenge on how far one can go with using their own body for action lead to the recruitment of two new fresh action regulars for Aka Ninja and Ao Ninja.

The Event Hall for the premiere event weekend consisted of the usual booths of sponsors to the show`s products as well as photo session times with someone in an Aka Ninja suit.
