Kamen Rider Build‘s 9th SODO set features 4 figures again and, like the last set, one of them is from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid‘s Another Ending Trilogy.

First up, we have 2 Best Matches from Hokuto and Seito, they are RoseHelicopter and ToraUFO. These are pretty standard figures for Build’s SODO line, but of course this isn’t a bad thing. These figures have great paint, articulation, and detail on them. The amount of stickers is reasonable and the swapping ability is still present. Next up, we have a retool of Kamen Rider Paradox from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. I never owned any figures from Ex-Aids SODO line but, as far as I can tell, this version of Paradox is identical, minus the coat tail pieces, and the plastic is molded in black and grey instead of Paradox’s signature red and blue. His stickers are very minimal, which is fantastic, and he comes with a little Buggle Driver 2 that can be displayed in blade or gun mode. Lastly, we have what I believe to be the most desirable figure of the entire wave, Cross Magma. This figure is awesome, the paint and sculpted detail is far greater than standard SODO figures, the stickers are, again, minimal and the whole figure just pops on the shelf. Overall, this wave is good. Personally, I think Cross Magma is a home-run figure. Paradox is fine but personally I don’t care for him and I’m not too sure how desirable RoseHelicopter and ToraUFO will be to the general consumer. So if you like this wave, I recommend the set. But, if you only want one or two figures, I’m sure they’ll be easy to find on Ebay individually.
