Well, last time we looked at the YUDO toy line, my opinion wasn’t too positive. This time around, I’m happy to say that YUDO learned from its mistakes with Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger and made the Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger figures much better. SODO still does it the best, in my opinion, but this round of figures is leagues better than the last one.
This set consists of 6 figures in 7 boxes, one for each ranger and one box for the accessories. So be warned, without the accessory box, your figures will not come with a single weapon or any additional pieces. The figures themselves are pretty solid. They feel slightly cheaper than SODO figures, but that makes sense since you are getting twice as many figures per wave for the same price and each figure is in its own box, unlike SODO which splits its figures into two boxes. Unlike the YUDO Kyuranger figures, these are painted in some areas (mostly the chests) and the remaining detail is stickers. The articulation is great as well, no major complains there, apart from a few stickers that come too close to some joints for my liking. Overall, these figures are pretty good and require a little bit of care and time before they’re ready to go but, if you’re fine with that, then these are going to be a solid purchase for you.
