So, since most regular release DX Full Bottle sets are so similar, we’re going to go over 4 today from the Kamen Rider Build TV series and movie line.
The first 3, from the show, are Tora UFO, Shika Pyramid, and Kujira Jet forms. All of these DX sets are fairly standard. If you like the form or the jingle (Shika Pyramid specifically has a very good jingle) then I recommend the sets. They’re all cheap enough and solid additions into the Build toy line and any fans collection. However, the DX Wizard and Orange Full Bottle set is a bit more of a niche pick up.
Much like the Kamen Rider Fourze and Kamen Rider OOO version, this set based on Kamen Rider Wizard and Kamen Rider Gaim requires you to have 2 other Full Bottles to achieve a Best Match with. Wizard best matches with Diamond from the Gorilla Diamond set. That’s an easy enough Full Bottle to acquire, but Gaim is where things get tricky. To make Gaim’s form, you need Orange and Lock, and that weighs down this set a lot. Lock has only been released as a campaign item with the DX Cross Dragon and DX Beat Crosser way back in the toy line’s first quarter. Due to the difficulty of getting half the best matches out of this set, I only recommend this one if you have both Diamond and Lock Full Bottles or you’re just a hardcore Wizard fan. Though, all in all, it’s a very cheap pick up, so even as a novelty item, this set’s not breaking the bank.
