Mazinger Z / Infinity Takes Flight in Latest Trailer Featuring the Voice of Kamen Rider Skull

Mazinger Z / Infinity is the latest feature in the beloved Mazinger manga and anime franchise, bursting with nostalgic adventure to what they hope will be the delight of old fans and new. Celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Mazinger saga, and the 50th anniversary of creator Nagai Go’s contributions as a manga artist, the film offers more super robot action to dazzle any newcomer, peppered with some familiar touchstones for those who know what to look out for.

Along with the new trailer’s dynamic visuals and sonic assault blasting us with the fantastical whimsy of the story on display, we get a sample of “The Last Letter”. To play as the film’s ending song, the piece is sung by none other than Kikkawa Kouji, who many of us here at Henshin Justice Unlimited remember fondly as the Boss himself, the fedora-wearing Detective Narumi aka Kamen Rider Skull from the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider W.

Mazinger Z / Infinity hits Japanese theaters January 13, 2018.
