Shout Factory has updated their official Youtube channel with clips for the upcoming release of Super Sentai: Denji Sentai Megaranger: The Complete Series.
The first clip features a look at the opening of the series, “Denji Sentai Megaranger.” The song is performed by Naoto Fuuga. However, Toei did release an English version the song later on performed by MEGA MICKEY.
The second clip features a look at the team first becoming the Megarangers. The Megarangers consist of:
MegaRed – Kenta Date
MegaBlack – Kouichirou Endou
MegaBlue – Shun Namiki
MegaYellow – Chisato Jougasaki
MegaPink – Miku Imamura
The third clip features a look at the Drill Saber’s powered up form, the Drill Saber Custom. This clip comes from episode 14, where the Megarangers encounter the Boss Kunekune and his army of Kunekune. Fans of Power Rangers In Space, would best remember this episode as the source material for “The Craterite Invasion”.
The next clip features the Megarangers fighting against Owl Nezire, who appears in episode 15 of the series. This monster briefly appeared in Power Rangers in Space episode 31, “Rangers Gone Psycho.” This episode would mark the start of the Psycho Rangers arc in Power Rangers.
The last clip features a look at the battle between the Termite Nezire and Cho Denji Gattai Super Galaxy Mega in episode 28 of the series. This isn’t the Cho Denji Gattai Super Galaxy Mega’s debut, as it would first appear 7 episodes earlier in episode 21.
Super Sentai: Denji Sentai Megaranger: The Complete Series will be released on DVD on October 31.
