Shout! Factory Releasing Seijuu Sentai Gingaman? [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Shout! Factory confirmed earlier this year their official release of Seijuu Sentai Gingaman coming in 2018. The original story follows.

Shout! Factory has been kicking ass and taking names these past few years, putting out one quality release after another from the worlds of Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and other tokusatsu titles. Continuing their trend of releasing each yearly Super Sentai series, beginning from 1992’s Kryoryu Sentai Zyuranger (from which Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was adapted), we now have 1998’s Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) to add to the growing Sentai pantheon.

At least we think we do.

With no official release date announcement from Shout, we only have the brief Amazon listing for the DVD set to go on. Which means the release date can be changed at any time, or the listing itself can simply disappear altogether. Though it’s fair to say that this would not be the first time fans have been alerted to the impending arrival of an anticipated set through these means.

As always, the best way to keep quality domestic releases of our favorite international titles flowing is to continue supporting them as they come. In other words, you mofos better keep buying this stuff until I get my Mahou Sentai Magiranger set.

Seijuu Sentai Gingaman is set to drop January 30, 2018. Unless it isn’t. But c’mon, it is. Isn’t it?
