Anime North 2015 Convention Roundup

A little late, but here’s this year’s Anime North 2015 convention report.

As mentioned in last year’s convention report, the Toku community continues to gain more and more presences this year is no different, the Toku fans came out in full force! Regardless if you’re into Kamen Rider or Ultraman, there’s still quite a bit to do at this show. Of course there were panels which I sadly had to miss out on.

On Friday and Saturday there was a Toku themed photo shoot, below are some photos from Saturday’s shoot:

Inside the dealer room I was pleasantly surprised to find a booth that sold boxed retro Sentai toys from the 90s and onward, the same table had assorted parts and opened mecha as well.

itcamefromjapan/a> returned this year bringing toys from both Drive and Nininger.

I would say that this year went fairly well all things considered. Of course, it wasn’t perfect there were a ton of errors on the convention schedule that I was surprised to see on the final print. One thing I do want to comment and commend the convention staff on this year is how autographs were: I do like how they allowed people in several batches at a time. I felt that made things more controlled and organized compared to other years.

Overall, the convention was rather decent though I felt that last year much better.
