Kamen Rider Drive Ichiban Kuji Lottery Released in Japan!

The first Ichiban Kuji product lottery (くじ) for Kamen Rider Drive is currently running in Japan! Hit the break to check out the unique items offered for Drive and learn how lotteries work.

Product lotteries are campaigns that are open for a limited time and can be found at convenience stores, bookstores, and media rentals stores. To enter the lottery, you pay for a random ticket that you draw from a box. The ticket has a letter, which is associated with a prize. The prizes are typically organized in “tiers”, with the A-tier prize as the most desirable and the F- and G-tier prizes as the most common. This usually also a rare “Last One” prize given to the person who purchases the very last lottery ticket in that store. Lottery prizes are exclusive to the lottery and cannot be bought in stores.

The A-tier prize for the Drive lottery is a pillow. One side features an image of Drive (type speed), and the other side is a tire. The pillow is 30 cm in diameter.

The B-tier and C-tier prizes are Kamen Rider World Collectible Figures. WCFs are 8cm figures made by Banpresto that feature a distinct super-deformed style. The B-tier prize is Kamen Rider Drive and the C-tier prize is Kamen Rider Gaim. Unlike other WCFs for Gaim, this one dual wields his weapons.

The D-tier prize is a 26 x 37 cm Kamen Rider Drive “clear poster”, which is a plastic poster that lets light shine through.

The E-tier prize is one of 4 different 20 x 20 cm washcloths.

The F-tier prize is one of 5 different keychains.

The G-tier prizes are sticker sheets, including Drive, Chaser and Gaim varieties.

“Last” but certainly not least, the “Last One” prize is a metallic version of the Kamen Rider Drive World Collectable Figure. Shiny!

Each lottery ticket is 380円 for the Drive lottery, and every ticket purchased wins at least one prize. All prizes also come with one of the following exclusive Kamen Rider Drive Ganbaride cards:

For fans outside of Japan, many of these items can be purchased from Japan Hero Collectibles starting in late January.
