Shinnosuke takes on a new case and finds himself fight against a childhood rivial of his. But Shinnosuke and mr belt are shocked to find out that he is a kamen rider. They try to stop him being reckless but it fails but when the mystery is solved the drift belt becomes good but his Makoto still is not

But when a another mystery is solved that shows it wasnt kamen rider drive's fault for these part events. Makoto understands and stops being a criminal and now as the drive to change and start anew along with his street friends and be ambitious again and not to give up. Then the drifter belt finds Makoto worthy to become kamen rider drifter for the right reasons, now he is kamen rider drive's playful rivial like ryu and ken from street fighter but are now friends. Drive and Drifter now join forces to defeat the Roidmudes and in the end Makoto's wife is out of the coma, he gets married to Natsumi again and they become happy together.
