Kogane appears as the new generation God, his existence is to open up a new world. He is the strongest Rider and holds the Golden fruit. In the movie he is Gaim’s enemy.
The actor, Ainosuke Kataoka, works in the Kabuki industry. This is a first for Kamen Rider. Takebe Naomi, the producer of Gaim, says that the criteria of the character was to focus on the ability to convey the aura of a god. The Golden Rider will also feature some relatively slow motion moves in a Kabuki style.
For those who are unaware of what Kabuki is, it is a classical Japanese dance–drama. Kabuki theatre is known for the stylization of its drama and for the elaborate make-up worn by some of its performers. (Source: Wikipedia)
The film title of Gaim’s movie is yet to be known, it is premiering on 19th July 2014 together with the Toqger movie.
*we previously reported the name of the Rider as Kamen Rider Mars, after discussion between posters in our forum, it seems like that Kamen Rider Malus is more appropriate as the name. Malus and Mars share the same katakana, but Malus is a type of apple which fits into the context better. There is still no official romanization of the name yet, but for the time being we’re sticking to Malus for now.
