“Zordon of Eltar” and “Teenagers With Attitude” are unofficial, non-profit fan films that re-imagine the saga of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
“Zordon of Eltar” in essence it is a “reboot” prequel that centers around the two quintessential characters that make up the backbone of the Power Rangers lore: Rita Repulsa and Zordon.
Despite being centered around Earth in the beginning of the series, the Power Rangers universe is host to a vast array of planets and alien life forms. With “Zordon of Eltar” being a prequel we would like to explore what the Power Rangers universe could have been like as a fully living and breathing galactic civilization without Earth and Angel Grove as the setting.
The themes and visual inspiration for this short film have been influenced by Star Wars, Star Trek and video games like Mass Effect and Shadow of the Colossus.
“Teenagers With Attitude” is a second fan film that we are producing simultaenously with “Zordon of Eltar.” It will be a short fan film that features a re-imagined cast of the original five teens (Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy and Kimberly) before they meet Zordon and become the Power Rangers.
